# Tokenbreak > A commercial break for your tokens. Opt-in ads for Claude Code. Advertisers reach developers while Claude thinks; developers earn USDC toward their subscription. Ads never touch your code or your context. Tokenbreak is an independent project for Claude Code. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic. ## For developers (earn) - Install inside Claude Code: `/plugin marketplace add tokenbreak/tokenbreak` then `/plugin install tokenbreak@tokenbreak`. - The mod shows one labeled banner above the prompt, an optional status-line sponsor, and on wide fullscreen terminals a Theater pane while Claude works. - Developers earn 50% of net ad revenue, paid in USDC on Base to their own wallet. $10 minimum, 30-day hold, daily caps (120 banner and 20 theater impressions). - Pause with `/ads pause 1h` or `/ads pause today`; resume with `/ads resume`. - Privacy: the mod sends only ad id, format, timestamp, an opaque turn id and a random device id. It never reads code, prompts or replies, and ads never enter the model's context. ## For advertisers (buy) - Status Sponsor (status): The status line, under the prompt. $5 CPM. Headline up to 40 characters. - Prompt Banner (banner): A band above the prompt, rotating every ~40s. $12 CPM. Headline up to 60 characters. - Theater (theater): A pane on the right while Claude works. $30 CPM. Headline up to 80 characters. Packs: - 10,000 impressions: banner $120 - 50,000 impressions: banner $540 (10% off) - 250,000 impressions: banner $2400 (20% off) - Every ad is reviewed by a human, usually within two business days.
